BUTTERMILK PIE (Jean Bernard’s)
½ cup butter 1½ cups sugar 3 eggs |
1 cup butter milk 4tbsp flour 1 tsp lemon flavoring (not lemon juice) |
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and beat well. Add buttermilk, flour, and flavoring. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake 40 to 45 minutes or until firm.
