STUFFED PEPPERS
Mom

4 large green peppers, halved
1 ½ lbs. ground beef
1 ½ cups cooked rice
2 eggs
¼ cup evaporated milk

1 medium onion, chopped fine
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp chili powder

Mix ingredients well and place in pepper halves.  Place in large frying pan.  Mix the following sauce and pour over peppers.  Cook over low heat, covered, for 45 minutes.

16 oz. tomato sauce
¼ cup water
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp vinegar
