Red Chili and Orange Barbeque Chicken

1/3 cup veg oil 1/2 cup minced onions 3 minced garlic clove 3 tbsp. chili powder 2 bay leaves 1 tbsp. dry mustard 1 1/4 tsp. dried thyme 1 1/4 tsp. ground ginger 1 tsp. curry powder 1 tsp. ground pepper 3/4 tsp. dried crushed red papper 1 3/4 cups catsup 1 cup fresh orange juice 1/4 cup light molasses 2 tbsp. worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp. soy sauce Heat oil in a heavy skillet over low heat. Add next 10 ingredients-cover and cook 10 min. Stir occasionally. Uncover, add catsup, juices, molasses,
Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce. Simmer until reduced to 3 cups, stirring often, about 20 minutes. Chill 24 hours. Coat chicken
and cook. Serve sauce with chicken. |
