Mom’s Brunch Casserole
Julie (only for the hearty-hearted, unless you have a death-wish)
1 lb. sausage, cooked but not dry |
2 cups milk ½ t. salt 1 t. dry mustard Dash pepper |
Use a greased 9 x 12 inch dish. Lay the bread as a liner on the bottom. Top with cheese then sprinkle the sausage over. Mix eggs, milk, and seasonings. Pour over the sausage. CHILL OVERNIGHT. Bake at 350 for 30-35 min.
Mom served this at Carolyn’s wedding brunch. Ed. note: She also makes this for Christmas morning brunch and it is Barry's favorite.
