Mocha Bavarian
Mom

4 cups milk
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
2 T instant coffee
1 t vanilla
1/4 t salt
1 T cocoa
2 packages gelatin
1/2 cup water
toasted almond chips

Beat egg yolks. Add milk, sugar, coffee, cocoa, vanilla and salt. Stir over medium heat constantly until boiling. Add gelatin softened in water. Cool until slightly thick, then beat in egg whaites which have had
3 T sugar beaten into them. Chill until firm. Serve topped with whipped cream and toasted almond chips.
